Ludovic joined Euler Hermes as Chief Economist in 2011. He also heads macroeconomic and thematic research for Allianz SE globally since 2017. Ludovic sits on the Board of Directors of Solunion, Euler Hermes’ joint venture company for Spain and Latin America. Before joining the financial sector, Ludovic worked for prestigious institutions such as the French Ministry of Finance, the United Nations and the World Bank. He helped design economic policies in more than 30 countries around the world. Ludovic graduated from the École Nationale de la Statistique et de l'Administration Économique and from the Institut d'Études Politiques de Paris. He has appeared on tier 1 media worldwide where his knack for words and gusto for economics are highly appreciated. Ludovic is fluent in French, English, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, German and Arabic.

Ana Boata joined Euler Hermes in 2012 as an economist specializing in European markets. In 2018 she became the Head of Europe Research and SME thematic research and in 2019 Head of Macroeconomic Research. Ana received the 2018 Best Forecaster Award for the Eurozone from Consensus Forecast, and her team has been ranked among the top 10 best forecasters worldwide for two consecutive years by Focus Economics. She gives regular interviews to international Tier-1 media on global topics, with a focus on Europe and Brexit. She also teaches macroeconomics at Paris Dauphine University and country risk analysis at Sciences Po Paris. Before joining Euler Hermes, Ana spent two years as an economist at Exane BNP Paribas. She is an alumna of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and Paris 2 Panthéon-Assas.

Prior to that, he worked as a credit analyst for Euler Hermes France, specializing on the food and retail sectors. Maxime holds a Master's degree from the University of Paris Dauphine.

Alexis joined Euler Hermes as Head of Macroeconomic Research in 2017. He oversees the macroeconomic research team and the production of economic analyses and forecasts. Prior to that, he worked for Taikang Asset Management as the Head of Global Economic Research, providing multi - asset analysis and strategic calls for a portfolio of gobal equity. Since 2009, he worked for various asset managers in Hong Kong, with a growing focus on China and Asia Pacific. He started his career as an economist in Natixis’ Research Department, working three years in Paris and two years in London. He first covered the UK and European Nordic economies, then focused on the US and Eurozone. He published “Why England lost”, a book analyzing the UK’s economic decline. He holds a PhD in macroeconomics with a focus on “macroeconomic shocks and monetary unions” from the University of Bordeaux.

He has developed a particular expertise in country risk assessment and oversees the country risk methodology at Euler Hermes. Manfred has a keen interest in international trade and emerging markets analysis. Based in Hamburg, Manfred has held various positions in Marketing, Risk and the Economic Research Department of Euler Hermes. Prior to that, he worked as a research associate at the University of Hamburg. Manfred holds a PhD in economics and a diploma in mathematics.

Selin joined Euler Hermes in 2020 as the Senior Economist for France and Africa. She is responsible for macroeconomic and country risk analysis. Prior to this, she worked at the French Development Agency as county risk economist, where she was monitoring macroeconomic developments in various emerging markets and African countries. From 2020-2017, Selin worked at the European Central Bank in the departments of Economics, Research and Financial Stability. There, she was in charge of the French desk, preparing inputs for the Governing council meetings on euro area real economic developments and monitoring the euro area banking sector. Selin holds a Ph.D in Economics from the University of Paris Dauphine, her academic publications and articles in the media mainly focus on emerging markets, international capital flows and trade, exchange rates and macro-financial linkages. Since 2005, Selin has been lecturing in economics and finance in various universities (Paris Sorbonne, Orléans, Bordeaux). She speaks French, English, Turkish and German fluently.

Before her current position, Françoise worked as an Economist for over 5 years at the equity broker Exane BNP Paribas in London. There, she was in charge of the macroeconomic analysis of the Chinese economy and Emerging Markets. She also worked on global and European topical themes. Her other work experiences include the ACPR, the French supervisor for the banking and insurance sectors. Françoise is a graduate from ENSAE ParisTech, with a Statistician Economist degree, specialised in economic forecasting and public policies. She also studied in the APE programme (economic analysis and policy) at Paris School of Economics.

Prior to that, she worked as Emerging Markets economist at Iron House Fund, a family office located in Sao Paulo, Brazil. She holds a Ph.D in economics from University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne (France) and a MSc in Analysis and Policy in Economics from Paris School of Economics (France). Her academic publications focus on the transmission mechanisms of monetary policy and currency shocks in emerging markets and on the short term drivers of exchange rates.
